2025 Summer Interns (Summer Missionaries)

Our association participates in the Missouri Baptist Convention's Summer Missions program to enhance our Summer Intern Ministry. The convention contributes to the Intern's compensation and in return the mentor & the interns participate in orientation.   In addition, the interns help them with one week of Super Summer and send in reports on their experiences.

Our association incorporates the convention's program into what we do in our intern ministry. The convention has some important dates to remember. This is a 10 week commitment.

Our summer interns will help our association in varied ways. The interns will help with our camps and VBS's as well as other ministries of our association and churches. We hope to add an element of missions as well.  We see this as ministry to our association as well as to the interns themselves. One of those ways is to work through a ministry book throughout the summer.

New to the ministry this year will be a Jr. Intern element of our intern ministry.  Every year I have students that are still in high school looking forward to becoming an intern once they reach the requirements. This year we will begin a Jr. Intern Ministry.  Alongside myself and others, our interns will have jr. interns to shadow and assist in our ministry. The interns will help mentor these volunteer students in discipling them for their future.
